Build 3D from 4 photos

Same object, same distance and height, plain background. Front and left are required; back and right make it more exact.

For shoes: front = looking at the toe. Left side = toe pointing right. Right side = toe pointing left. Photos are sent to the server only for this build, held in memory and deleted at once. Nothing is saved or logged.

How to make shoes look real

Option A. One photo (quick, flat 3D)

• Side view, toe pointing right, the whole shoe in the picture. One shoe only.
• Plain white or light grey background (paper or wall), no pattern. The background is cut out automatically.
• Camera at shoe height, straight on. Not from above.
• Soft daylight, no flash, no hard shadow under the shoe.
• JPG, PNG or WebP, at least 1000 px wide, under 12 MB.
• Result: a cut-out with a little depth. Good for a quick test.

Option B. 4 photos (built on our server)

• Press Build 3D from 4 photos. Take front, left side, back and right side with the camera at the same height and distance, object centred, plain background, same light.
• Shoes: front = facing the toe, left side = toe pointing right, right side = toe pointing left, back = the heel.
• The server carves the shape from the 4 outlines and paints your photo colours on it. Hollows (inside the shoe) cannot be seen from outside photos, so the result is a solid shape.
• Photos are processed in memory and deleted at once.

Option C. 3D scan (.glb, looks real)

• Scan the shoe with a phone app: Polycam, Luma AI, KIRI Engine (or Object Capture on iPhone).
• Put the shoe on a plain matte surface. Walk around it in 3 rings (low, middle, high), 40 to 80 photos, never move the shoe. Stuff the toe with paper so it keeps its shape.
• Even light, no flash. Shiny or black patent leather scans badly.
• Export as .glb with textures, under 40 MB (reduce to about 100k triangles).

Upload

1. Choose the type (Shoes, Bag, Clothes) in the top bar.
2. Press Import photo / 3D and pick the photo or .glb file.
3. Use Flip direction and Rotate 90° until the toe points right.
4. Open Try on, then Take photo.

Single photos and scans stay in your browser. The 4-photo build is sent to our server for that one request, kept in memory only and never saved or logged. Use only photos you took or have the right to use.
